Can anyone Identfy these stock markings? Reciever has FN in script & the year 1938 on it. This gun is matching & was picked up at a local auction. Thanks, Mauserhaus

I was thinking more in the line of a Lithuanian. The mark on the stock resembles the markings found on Pre-WWII recievers. If it was Chinese, I would think the mark would be in Chinese script.

That is not the Lithuanian "crown" marking, but it is sorta, kinda similar. All the Lithuanian M24L's I have seen (FN M30) have the "crown" crest, with or with out the "GINKLU FONDAS" marking. Curio...
